UPDATE: Contact Roger David Hardesty via this form.
Roger David and the Honorable Jo Ann Hardesty are making their community organizing talents available to individuals and organizations. Jo Ann served three terms in the Oregon legislature before spending seven years as Executive Director of the community-based non-profit, Oregon Action. In the past few years Jo Ann has been President of Portland Community Media, and served on the city’s Charter Review Commission. After several terms as President of the Coalition for a Livable Future, she has left their Board and now sits on the Board of Directors of Human Solutions and the Avel Gordly Center for Healing at OHSU.
Dave is the former Minority Partner of Consult Hardesty. Having a long history of advocating for Native American lands rights, he recently served on the Board of Wisdom of the Elders. With Jo Ann, he pressed for Portland City Council to adopt a Plan to Address Racial Profiling and for the US Dept. of Justice, Civil Rights Division, to pursue an investigation into Portland Police.
For evidence of the Partners acting in concert, listen to this broadcast, aired on KBOO in August, 2012. We review failure to adopt the Portland Police Plan to Address Racial Profiling, three years on.
Want to Consult Hardesty? We’d appreciate hearing from you.
